Sergio Rippa was no more than a boy when he started working for the confectionery master in Tortona, where he created Baci di Dama.

Not quite fourteen, Sergio started learning the art of confectionery. From that Master he gained the skills, with accuracy and strict discipline, among the large wooden ovens, antique copper cauldrons and impressive stoves, he used his dedication, and a passion for this profession grew.

In 1958 Sergio and his brother opened a confectionery business in Sale, and the famous Baci di Dama became well know. These products are assigned for pastry lovers, traditionally for personal use, or as a tender gift, because every Bacio or Amaretto is made so you will remember it for the taste.

The Rippa Pastry shop limits  its Baci di Dama and Amaretti production daily, so it can maintain the quality and high standards which Rippa is renowend for.
