In 1993 Antonio Anastasi, turned the Anastasi Family run Farm from conventional farming to Organic. For three generations the farm was producing Olive Oil and by products by conventional means. Going Organic was a natural progression, and for years he pioneered the art in Calabria through the production of olive oil. The Oil comes from the best Olives of selected Olive plantations, and is 100% Organic. No pesticides or other chemical additives are used.

All products are certified for Organic production by; ICEA, IFOAM, certification by USDA/NOP, accredited BIO SUISSE and of course work to ISO90002 standards. All products are OGM free. The result is Principe di Gerace and Mediterraneo Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.  Respect for the manual labour, a regard for the environment and according to basic Organic agricultural teaching, coexisting and keeping step with Nature instead of dominating it gives our Oil it's characteristics.
